To fulfill the requirement of prosecutors’ full-time appearance in trial, to set up fair trial foundation, and to meet the social expectation, our office started to implement prosecutors’ full-time appearance in trial. Prosecutors now actively involve themselves in trial. They bear the responsibility of burden of proof, interrogate witnesses and defendants in trial, participate in evidence reviewing, rebut untrue defenses and testimony from defendants and witnesses, and file closing argument writs. They assist courts find truth and consolidate fair trial.
