The Taipei District Prosecutors’ Office is in Taipei, the location of our central government.  The jurisdiction area was very wide including 45 districts, towns and villages in Taipei city and Taipei County (now New Taipei City).  Since BanChao District Prosecutors’ Office and Shilin District Prosecutors’ Office was set up in Feb. 1981 and Aug. 1984, the jurisdiction area of this office now only includes 7 districts (Zhongshan, Daan, Songshan, Xinyi, Zhongzheng, Wanhua, and Wenshan ) in Taipei City and 5 districts (Xindian, Shiding, Shenkeng, Pinglin,and Wulai )in New Taipei City.
